DAY 17: FRAN'S COMING BACK TO LOS ESTADOS UNIDOS?

Yep, you heard that right.

As I'm sitting here waiting another day for my youtube video of DAYS 7-11 to upload so I can move on with posting, I also confirmed some details relating to some surprising news.

Two days ago, I was invited to interview at a medical school.  One day ago, I checked on available interview dates.  On said day I found out that there was only ONE interview date left... next Friday, less than one week away.

Today, I confirmed my flight back to the U.S. of A.  It will be a quick trip, and I will be interviewing after an entire day's worth of travel, minimal sleep, and a completely opposite sleep/wake cycle.  But I'm excited!

The first thing I plan to do when I land stateside in Miami is have an AMERICAN Coca-Cola and Twix bar. So healthy :)

Although I have been enjoying Spain, I'm beyond excited about the opportunity to interview at this school and this has further solidified that my dream life as a physician is just around the corner...
